Volunteer
You Can Make A Difference.
The work is very rewarding and we look forward to
meeting those who want to give back to the Community through our
Center.
We are looking for help in a variety of ways, including
greeters at the Center, those who can help clients fill out paperwork, people to
help with fundraisers, public awareness programs, housekeeping, and even general clerical support.
Things to know about volunteering for WCCAC:
 | Shifts are from 8:30 am -12:30 pm and
12:30 - 4:30 pm; plus an evening shift on Thursdays from
4:30 - 7:30 pm.
|
 | Volunteers are required to fill out a
Volunteer
Application form.
|
 | Due to the confidentiality of services
provided at the Children's Advocacy Center, volunteers are
carefully screened through the application process,
followed by a personal interview, and then background
checks.
|
 | Upon acceptance, volunteers go through a
four-hour training course to learn how to interact with
families in crisis.
